Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Injury Center: The lead federal agency for injury prevention, offering data, publications, and fact sheets on general injury and violence prevention and control.
National Safety Council (NSC): A non-profit organization providing extensive resources for safety in the workplace, on the road, and in the home and community. Their "Injury Facts" page provides detailed statistics on preventable deaths and injuries.
Workplace Injury Prevention
National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH): The federal agency responsible for conducting research and making recommendations for the prevention of work-related disease and injury.
Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA): Sets and enforces standards, and provides training, outreach, and assistance to ensure safe and healthy working conditions.
General Childcare Safety
Safe Kids Worldwide: This non-profit organization focuses specifically on preventing unintentional childhood injuries. Their "For Parents" section offers expert blogs, safety tips, product recall information, and educational videos.
CDC Child Safety in the Home & Community: Offers federal information and guidance on keeping young children safe at home and in the community, based on age and developmental stage.
Child Welfare Information Gateway: A service of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, this site offers resources for professionals and the public on promoting the safety, permanency, and well-being of children. While broader than just accident prevention, it addresses overall child safety and risk assessment.

AAA Foundation for Traffic Safety: Conducts research and provides educational materials on traffic safety issues, from teen driving to older adult drivers.
Teen Driver Source (CHOP): An evidence-based website from the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) Center for Injury Research and Prevention, offering guidance for teens, parents, and policymakers on best practices for learning to drive.
KidsandCars.org: A website dedicated to accident prevention for hot car deaths, front and back rollovers, and other accidental deaths of children that involve vehicles.
Drownings
American Red Cross Water Safety:Provides comprehensive water safety resources, including a free online course, Water Safety for Parents and Caregivers, and a Red Cross Swim App with safety information for the whole family.
Water Safety USA: A collaboration of national governmental and non-profit organizations that provides consolidated public education materials and programs on water safety.
National Drowning Prevention Alliance (NDPA): An advocacy group with a mission to prevent drowning through evidence-informed action, providing resources and promoting National Water Safety Month.
